I suppose if you are going to get held up over the bridge in Tyringham on the way to Fences Farm - it may as well be by Cameron Diaz in a Jag! Sounds like an odd dream - but it actually happened last night - I was on my way over to meet Don and Josie McGeachy, to show them their new horse (Exit To Nowhere), when I had to pull over out of shot, so that the scene could be filmed - last day of filming today, and from what I can gather it is not a day too soon for the locals who are becoming slightly frustrated by the disruption to their routines. When we all finally got through, Don who has had shares in several horses with us, and knows a nice horse when he sees one, was very impressed with his new boy. It was good to see Don and Josie over again - it has been a while - and we all enjoyed an hour in the pub afterwards.Kikos is fine after his run. There are only 3 chases that he can run in over the course of the next month - Stratford, Newton Abbott and back at Aintree, and at this stage Aintree on June 10th is the target. E Major has also come out of his race in good order. Sam stayed up after Towcester on Monday and schooled Willow Wren yesterday. With no rain they did not do too much, but she did need a refresher after her fall last time.She will head to Uttoxeter on Saturday.Colebrook is starting to let himself down nicely, and he seems to be enjoying his holiday - he will be back in in about 3 weeks. The Overbury 2 yr old is going very nicely, and will be backed today. He has taken to everything very well, and is well mannered - we had a peek at him last night, and now that he has had his mane pulled and been smartened up a bit he looks a smashing sort. He looks sure to be a real National Hunt type with plenty of size and scope and I can't wait to get going with him in a couple of years.
