The weather looks set fair for the week - which is great news with the Charity Cricket Match coming up on Friday evening. Thanks to everyone for getting back to me re attendance - It looks like being a recored turn out - I have gone for a bigger pig!! For those that have never attended before - it is a very casual affair, and if you want to have a seat it is probably best if you bring your own and pitch up around the boundary edge as there are not many benches outside the pavillion. I am very much looking forward to it!! The return of the horses back into work is imminent. Silver Wren, who has been off games with a long term injury, and Benefit Cut are in a couple of weeks ahead of the main intake which will take place a week today! In that first draft will be Omaruru. Pleased to report that Sam, despite being a bit stiff and sore is OK after his horror spill in Worcester yesterday, where he had a fall that saw him driven head first into the turf. He was stretchered off, and went to hospital, but there seems to be no lasting damage.
