Not that sort of date!! Despite it beiong my Birthday - I wasn't fortunate to get asked out by Gwyneth Paltrow!! No - we have a date for Tara Dancer's long awaited seasonal debut!! As mentioned over the last couple of days, Stuart has been very pleased with her, she seems in fantastic form, and has been working very well with Grade 1 winning hurdler Ogee. This morning she had a pop up the hurdles a couple of times and was very good! So we have had a look at the programme book, and she will hopefully be heading to Southwell on July 23rd. We have considered wether to run her in another bumper or start off over hurdles, and we think that as she is a natural over an obstacle there should be no problem in starting over hurdles. Her race is restricted to mares only so fits in very well - it also fits in well in terms of her preparation as well, as Ogee is an intended runner on the card as well, and she has been doing all her work with him!
