Sunday 21 September

Scotland voted to remain in the Union on Thursday, and it was nice to see that we remain grateful recipients of their finest export - no - not whiskey - weather!! Yesterday wa a very Scottish morning on the top of the hill - misty and damp! It didn't stop us enjoying a good morning with some very eyecatching pieces of work. First lot we saw Cllonacool (near side) with Reyno, Carolina Wren in behind with Dawn Commander and Smart Exit in rear. After a good canter, SE lead up CW and DC in another canter before Cloonacool (far side) worked really well with Reyno.Cloonacool continues to go very well, and we will have a look at a maiden hurdle in Uttoxeter on October 5th for his seasonal debut (ground permitting). Second lot and we got to see Mairise go a shade quicker for the first time (far side) with San Telm. Both in front rank went really well, with the 3 yr old Mairise really taking the eye with his 126 rated work mate - he looks a really nice hurdling prospect! Third lot, saw Maypole Lass breeze with Native Princess (near side), both of these fillies went really nicely, and will be running early next month.
