Monday 13 October

The rain has arrived - and in some style! Possibly too much for Mr Maynard in Huntingdon tomorrow, but not enough in Wetherby for San Telm on Wednesday. ST's next entry is in Cheltenham on Friday. Still a quarter share for sale if you fancy going to Cheltenham as an owner on Friday afternoon. Tom O'Brien has said he'll do 10.1 if he needs to! It should be nice an juicy for Mairise and his hurdling debut on Thursday. We are looking forward to seeing him, but have also made an entry in Kempton on Sunday in case it is really testing in Uttoxeter! Brendan Powell is popping in tomorrow morning to school Mairise, and he will also have a sit on Dawn Commander over a few hurdles as well. DC has not been entered in Cheltenham, as he needs a few more days to hit peak fitness - so he will head to Aintree later this month. Cloonacool is in great nick, and cantered nicely past his new owner Bob Edwards on Saturday morning. We wish Bob the best of luck with him - he was impressed! Native Princess is also in great heart, and the rain means she should get her run in a couple of weeks. Smart Exit is also in rude health, and will also be running in 2-3 weeks (shares available). Maypole Lass has come out of her brave Ludlow second in good form, and we will look at both handicaps, novices and maidens for her. Old boy Colebrooke ran a sound race for Ben and Jay on Saturday in Chepstow. A little more help from the handicapper and he should add to his tally again.
