New acquisition Bold Conquest arrived from Ireland this morning and I could not be happier! He has been purchased to run through the summer, starting over hurdles in about 3 weeks and then going novice chasing after May 1st. As he stepped off of the lorry this morning I was delighted with him - he has a super set of clean limbs, and is just the right size and shape to go on the better ground through the summer. Although he had been on a lorry overnight, he still needed a leg stretch this morning, so he had a little hack canter third lot, and when I saw him move I was even happier. He can be seen below cantering in the front with San Telm.(Bold Conquest is nearest the camera). As you can see he is a very free and easy going chap, and Jo who rode him thought he was a cracking horse. Shares are available at just £650 plus £25/week all inclusive training fee. It wasn't just me who liked him - Bob Edwards was in to see his boy Cloonacool and give him an apple, and he liked what he saw as well! Benefit Cut had an easy canter after his light therapy yesterday and was moving really well. Maypole Lass worked really well and we will look to see if we want to take on the 'big' girls in Doncaster on Saturday. San Telm swung along third lot with Ereyna and Dawn Commander, and all three looked in fine form.
