First up - Happy Birthday to the trainer!! Stuart reaches the milestone of the big FiveO today!! He doesn't look a day over 60!! By way of a birthday present the handicapper has given him a not so nice present - he has raised Smart Exit 2lbs to a mark of 112! A little harsh off of the back of a second place last Saturday - but that is life, and will not alter plans. Cloonacool will not be affected until next Tuesdays ratings are published - let's hope he's not affected at all - but I think that is highly unlikely!! Kayla heads to Worcester tomorrow, and as she is due to carry top weight, Stuart is employing the services of Ciaran Gethings again. His 7lb claim will be invaluable. Everyone speaks very highly of this young jockey, and we were all very impressed with the ride he gave Smart Exit on Saturday. Kayla is in top form, and this looks like a winnable heat! Hopefully she can give the trainer a belated birthday present.
