A super weekend spent in Alsace, attending the wedding to Tom and Cynthia. T&C along with Toms parents David and Sue have shares in horses with us, and tied the knot in Cynthias home town of Wissembourg in the Alsace region of western France. It was a fantastic weekend - despite a 3 hour outbound flight delay, and a delayed return flight! Also out there were Matt Griggs and his partner Sarah who have a share in Sneaking Budge so we were in great company all round! A super trip, to a wonderful part of France, and the rain even managed to play ball and keep the deluges to the times we all fund ourselves inside drinking!!! Thanks to Tom and Cynthia and their families, we wish you a long and happy married life together!! Tomorrow Bold Conquest and Pull Together will return to their warm, dry stables - as they begin their pre training. Bold Conquest will resume on better ground in the late summer, and will have some headgear applied, Pull Together will be aimed at a bumper in September. The main bunch will return in 2 weeks time, with Sneaking Budge having a couple of weeks extra. Our French target failed to materialise over the weekend, but we will keep our eyes out for another horse to add to the ranks.
