Bold Conquest travels to Chepstow today - after a couple of below par efforts he needs to recapture some form, and we are hoping that today is the day. The race conditions are perfect for him, and the overnight rain turning the ground good to soft will not inconvenience him either. Fingers crossed he makes the trip worth while! Cloonacool has an entry in Ascot on Saturday. Their ground is currently good to firm, but they will water to aim to achieve good, good to firm in places. This will be fine for Cloonacool who is suited by a sound surface despite winning on heavy! He really is uncomplicated and goes on any ground, and with him in superb form at home he will line up at the weekend. His recent work has been very good! Stuart popped over to the sales yesterday and we chatted about the weekend work. He confirmed that Cloonacool is in great order, and that Apasionado is bouncing. Sneaking Budge was very good and will be aimed at Sandown on November 6th, although we have said that he will not run on watered Good Ground - it will need to be juicier than that! Stuart reaffirmed his liking for Molly Childers, and she is very much on course to head to Lingfield on 8th of November, although he may just pop her in a mares bumper in Warwick on the 4th to see what the opposition looks like. In the past this has been a competitive heat, but it may be different this year with the very dry conditions. Apasionado will have entries from 8 - 18th of November in an ordinary novice hurdle away from the limelight, after which, if all goes well he will be asked to step up in grade in December before a mid winter break. Pull Together just has another couple of weeks on light duty.
