Apasionado failed to pick up quite like Stuart would have liked in his work this morning, and will therefore miss his intended target in Ascot on Friday. It is a shame, as we would have liked to have tested him over a more suitable trip, against a lot of the best 2m novices out there. Apasionado will now have a holiday and be back in the spring, on his favoured Good ground.He remains one to very much look forward to - and will contest some really nice races in 2017. Molly Childers has been entered in Hereford on Monday, she is in fine fettle! On the subject of nice mares - a super prospect arrived at Fences Farm in the last couple of days, Stuart has given her a canter and says she is smashing - very athletic. She is already a winner of her only start, the form of which has been seriously franked, so she is a very bright prospect indeed. More details on her towards the end of the week.
