Fences Farm looked at it's stunning best, all be it against the backdrop of dark skies this morning. The trees are colourful, some are in blossom, and the horses look in fine fettle this morning as well. New boy Classic Ben arrived at 5.30am, and Stuart couldn't resist throwing some tack on him and letting him have a gentle canter. He loved him - he is a lovely mover, and is a fine looking 4 yr old. His Irish point to point form is rock solid, and he is by a Chapion Sire in Beneficial - what is not to like?? He is available as a whole for £24,000, or if you are interested in a share in him then get in touch, as I have yet to decide how many shares will be available - I will be guided by the level of interest. He will be kept in for a day or two before heading out into the filed with his new pals. He will come back in to work in early July - and there will be no keep fees to pay until he returns to work. He can be seen below cantering this morning.
Tricky Silence breezed nicely this morning. Stuart will school him in some headgear tomorrow, which if he takes to OK, he will sport on Saturday when he runs. It will help him concentrate. He is very much on course. Two head to Towcester tomorrow - Elusive Cowboy and Kayla will both appreciate their quick ground - good luck to connections!
